An 85-year-old woman has died and four other people are
injured after a two-car crash in Rangiora, north of Christchurch, this morning.
Police were called to the scene on Flaxton Road at 11.22am
They say an 85-year-old woman has died and an elderly man is
in a serious but stable condition following the crash.
Three other people have minor injuries.
The Police Serious Crash Unit is investigating the crash, said a source.
